~tilde is a collective in flux

founded by the cultural scientist and curator Helene Romakin (Berlin/Zurich) and the artist collective U5 (Zurich). Oscillating between places and times ~tilde organizes event series with artists, architects, musicians, and interdisciplinary scholars. The first series of events X-cene Matinee took place in the wind tunnel in cooperation with Florian Dombois at the ZHdK in Zurich in autumn 2020.

Clemens Krauss In-Group, Performance, 8-11. Oktober 2020

Der österreichische Künstler und Psychoanalytiker Clemens Krauss hat die dreitägige Performance In-Group im Format von Gruppensitzungen mit bis zu zwölf Teilnehmer*innen durchgeführt. Die Gruppensitzungen fanden im geschlossenen, vertrauten Rahmen statt und wurden nicht festgehalten.

x-cene matinée an occasion with Isabel Lewis 31. Oktober 2020

Considered celebratory gatherings of things, people, plants, dances and scents, occasions hosted by Isabel Lewis take place in decorated environments where visitors can drift in and out of attention and sociality.

The occasion in the Wind Tunnel is based on a collaboration between Isabel Lewis and Stefanie Hessler that started during the symposium "Practices of Attention” at the Bienal de São Paulo in 2018. As Stefanie cannot join us for this occasion, Isabel will read her text.
