"32° of inverted routines", 2015 Installation 250 x 250 x 250 cm mixed media https://youtu.be/eDd8P_KZYpQ
A 250 x 250 x 250 cm bamboo cube frames this multimedia installation, which contrasts subjects of the tourists gaze and the disruption of daily routines. Within the cube, various materials, starting with a boneshaped 3D-prints and self-designed shower curtain brought from Switzerland, are combined together to form reciprocal references. This original material was mixed with objects accumulated over months of travel through Singapore, Indonesia and Japan. Each medium— PVC-banners, adhesive tapes, artificial strands of hair, various dried parts of tropical plants, and so on— alludes to those preceding it. Through methods such as scanning, re-printing/filming and projection, the installed materials and shapes were translated from their original state to reappear in the multi-layered display.
