Domestic Haze

For the solo show at Urgent Paradise in Lausanne U5 developed a setting were the visitor is guided through the exhibition space. The first room contains a rug, a withered plant, a sofa covered in pigeon excrements and a monitor displaying the words 'please wait to be seated'. The visitors are personally guided 'one-by-one through the following rooms. After the visitors’ coat is stored in the cloakroom, a special drink is handed over before they enter the last space of the exhibition where all the visitors come together. This meeting area is lit with black light and a progressive psy-trance sound is played in a loop.

Domestic Haze was developed in collaboration with Urgent Paradise and was exhibited in their space in Lausanne.
